split second turbo tuner problems need help
I have an 07 335xi and I purchase a sstt. Once I turn the car on got a malfuntion half engine light on and it says reduce power. Any one had this issue? I then took it off and the car back to normal. This is my only mod. can some one help with any input?

Did you put the ecu to sleep before the install? To do this pop the hood and lock your doors for 15min (if you have comfort access leave your keys in the house) this should put the ECU to sleep, then do the install.

Yes, I did put it t sleep. I did leave the keys in the house. I actually left the hood open for 1 hour just to be safe. I did open the glove box to get out the flash light while the car was lock and hood open. Could this have cause it?

How did you get to the glove box with the car locked? If you have CA your keys have to be a good deal away because even if the doors locked the ecu will still be awake if the keys are near by.
But an actual fault code would be more helpfull, I'd try the install again and make sure everythings connected right and if it comes up again try to scan it with a BT tool. |

It seems that the connection on the SSTT is one of the biggest contributors to the half engine light. Take some Electrical tape and secure the connections, then put it back in. That should solve your problems
