RD sport turbocharger kit

Anybody running the RD sport turbos and the Black Box or EMS flash, I found them on EAS european auto source's web site, looks like a nice set.

Seems like there are at least 5 companies that have upgraded turbos but I don't hear about more than a few people running them.

Yet,

Yet,
I don't know of anybody running them, but they have been discussed here before. They're apparently similar to the ASR ones, and should not be first choice because they don't retain the stock water cooling lines. Also, prices from Racing Dynamics are generally prohibitive.

The Rob Beck turbos will be shipped very shortly (probably next week), then we'll here more feedback from forum users I guess.

Yeah RobBeck turbos is the way to go for the Full upgrade otherwise EPL or Helix is a good option for only compressor upgrade.

ASR made more power then Rob beck and RD 2 years ago and still no one has been able to match them. ASR turbos are different from everyone elses because still no one has been able to match their performance. so i see no similarities with any other turbo kit

??? i have their intake, chargepipe +tail bov, meth kit, and clutch/flywheel(SPEC). im real happy with their work and products. i wont lie tho when i first saw their intake i thought my car would feel slower coming from BMS DCI, but the exact opposite happened. i feel like the car pulls harder when on the highway and driving around the street it feels pretty much the same. dont ask me how but it does

i wont lie to you guys tho their customer service is a little slow at times. mainly because their so busy

That is because they are priced ridiculously. 3k+ for a stock snail upgrade? They are milking the impatient people with extra cash in our community. Hopefully prices will stabilize in a year or two.

I dealt with Abid on multiple occasions in the past. I would avoid the guy, his customer service leaves much to be desired and he's actually ripped me off when I had just moved to the USA, bought a DSM and didn't know anything better.

well helix and epl aren't really upgraded turbos, but more like modified turbos. ASR uses a ceramic ball bearing chra oil cooled. RD not sure what they use but they didn't make the same power as ASR so they cant be the same. Robbeck upgrades the turbine housing or something like that, which IMHO is an old technology, but it seems to be working. also all companies i believe upgrade the waste-gate and actuators in their own way

if you want something that makes good power, low cost, and seems to have good service ill go robbeck, but if you want the most power and deal with a somewhat slow service then ill go ASR.

me personal im going with ASR his products speak for themselves IMHO and hes local. also like i said earlier i haven't had any problems with ASR and i believe they do the best work down here.

thanks for shedding some insight.. at this point I will just probably wait for a large single upgrade, and if I do decide to keep the stock twins a lil nitrous + meth will do nicely at relatively low boost levels to achieve low 11's and 130mph+ trap speeds..
