Procede install issues - help please.

I know this is a tough time for Vishnu to get back to me with some help (Sunday on Thanksgiving weekend) so I figured I'd ask the forum for a little help in case they don't get back to me.

I have a 2009 335i e90 with i-Drive. The DME software should be reasonably recent and MSD81.

My issue here is an SES light and none of the CAN-related features are working! Car starts up, idles smoothly, but there is an SES light on the dash that I can't read or clear since none of the features work!

CANclear, DTC map switching, Hazard gauge switching, Command Center, none of them work!

I was digging through this entire board for the last two hours trying to figure out which harness/pins the CANbus is read through with no pertinent information.

Did anyone else experience this? The only bit of information I could dig up was that CANclear doesn't work on older DME software, but that isn't the case for me.

If your car starts up and runs, I would have to guess maybe a corrupted firmware. Try to download it again to see if that fixes it?

I'll revert to an earlier known good FW revision and see what happens. Thanks for responding, much appreciated.

No need to revert. Just redownload latest FW and maps and upload them. If you still get the issue check the procede connection in the ECU.

shiv -no email yet. Your e-mail server sucks

Anyway, reuploaded firmware numerous times, still can't access any of the CAN related features but SES light is gone. took tune out, SES light still gone. I think what I need to do is completely wipe the PROcede altogether and start from scratch but unsure on how to do that... Will wait for Shiv's e-mail thanks.

ECU Connector Part Numbers

If you don't mind can you jot down the ECU connector part numbers, I'm thinking of ordering a pair for the Procede harness so I don't have to pop off the slider and go through that exercise every time...

Unless shiv know the part numbers already.

No idea really. Car was acting wonky, i just removed the tune, test drove stock, reinstalled tune, went to the last known working firmware and it started working.

I'm on beta 131 right now on 6AT maps.

PS - DOWNPIPES ARE A PAIN IN THE FUCKING COCK!!!!!!!!!!
