My car came into Baltimore VPC on 10/28/2010 and sat their until 11/10/2010. It was not because of previous backup to fix 535ix problem.

I have heard by rumor it had something to due with everything from a tire DOT spec sticker needing to be replaced to some issue about tire shortages and shipping cars without proper tires and needing them to be replace when they got to US. Also heard worldwide rft tire shortage for BMW tire sizes?

Anything to this?

There are a few threads on bimmerfest discussing this. Nobody seems to know exactly what the problem is but its definately due to tires. All i know is mine has been at NJ VPC since 10/26 and I still do not have it. I've heard others that have been in NJ for 4 weeks already.

Picking up car tomorrow. I think it was actually a DOT sticker problem.
