I think in the last week there has been 7-10 thread about wrecks or hitting shit or collisions.

Is this normal around here? seems like everyone is having shitty luck man!!

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

I have noticed the same thing as you did.

I think it could happen to all of us..**knock on wood ***

To quote Forrest Gump and modifies his quote a bit : "Driving is like a box of chocolate, we'll never know what we are going to hit"

I know that we all love our cars and it sucks when someone hit our car or we accidentally hit other cars/fixed objects.

I am one of them. Might be some BMW bad luck weeks or something. Or that time of the year when people are stressed or less careful or just plain unlucky.

Or that seeing anything with collison, hit, rear end, etc is amusing to us and thus you remember it because you were interested in clicking on it.

This is just like asking why so many peoples HPFPs fail...in reality it's only common on this forum because we post about it. How many people post about how well their HPFP is performing...

They come up often enough, but yeah, the past week or two has been worse than usual.

On my way home from work last Friday, the car in front of me lost a hubcap, which struck a glancing blow to my front bumper and left scratches.

I polished them out over the weekend and they are less noticeable, but they are defintely there.
