Trunk or bumper

Couldn't resist a poll on the topic. Will the E92 M3 have the license plate on the trunk or on the rear bumper?

I voted trunk because that's where I WANT it to be!

My 2 cents

I voted for the bumper as I think I basically believe the Car Magazine "scoop". I would prefer the trunk but could definitely get used to the bumper if it looked more like the M6 rather than the p-chops in the mag. But darn, then again, could it be that only Euro sized plates actually clear the flow from the diffuser on the M6?? BMW couldn't have been that EU centric ignoring their largest market could they?...

got a strong feeling its gona go in the bumper.... the high masking on the mules is a clue.

I kinda like that fact it will look very different from the normal coupe

All of the mules have it on the trunk. If the plate were going on the bumper that would mean that they were using a different trunk lid and seeing how it might affect the aerodynamics of the car, they would need to do some real world testing with it. Given that we haven't seen any mules with either a plate on the bumper or a taped up trunk. I'm guessing that the plate is going on the trunk. I also think it looks better, although that is completely personal preference.

vote goes to trunk.
considering M6, it looks good on bumper but the magazine picture that most of us saw in other thread, it looks just BAD!
