Raleigh/Triangle Area driving

Where are you guys (or girls) going to find some spirited driving? I'm by no means talking about going out drifting or driving insanely fast, but more like a place with roads that bring out the sport in you.

Once you get beyond Apex, I like Old US Hwy 1. The roads are relatively straight, but there's hardly ever another car on it, so it makes for a nice drive.
