Parts Discount?? Parts Lookup? Tires/Wheels

Which DC or Balt. metro dealer gives the best discount on BMW parts? I know some give 10 or 15% with a BMWCCA membership.

If anyone has access to a parts database I would like to get the part number and list price for the wind deflector for the new E93. Please PM if you can provide it. Thanks very much.

Also still looking for a source for ASA or CSL rep wheels and Toyo tires.

Jason at Tischer BMW Silver Spring is DC Metro POC for BMW parts, they give 20% off(best sofar) to BMWCCA mbrs. Also, he is a Dinan Specialist.

Dinan product btw are giving an additional 10% rebate on all their product for the month of Jan 07. Forms are online at Tischers (I have a copy for those who needs them)

EDIT: Rebate ends Feb/2007

BMW of Sterling gives me the parts discount with CCA membership. They dont even ask for my card. I have also been to the parts department 9,000 times, so they kinda know me by now...

I got a call from Jason @ Tischer, got my Dinan short shifter kit for $154 ($189 MSRP), he'll get it shipped to me here at home at no cost too! with the Dinan Rebate thats $138 to my door!

Here's a Dinan Rebate form for those who's getting Dinan this month too, call Jason, Dinan Tischer BMW spc. for hookups!

Dinan Rebate End Feb 2007, not Jan. my err!

I'm thinking of shopping for the OEM strut bar, which place would be my best bet? Is anyone else thinking of this mod, maybe we can put something together?

My car is feeling a little loose and I hope the strut bar would help regain some rigidity. Daily commutes into DC would do that to you....

I still have those springs. I can't guarantee availability by summer though, with the splitters and wheels coming, I might get into the mod bug heavy and install them once and for all

But seriously, if you want them I'll set them aside. I don't think I can have them on, my car is terribly shaken by DC roads as it is. I am sure the steamroller-heavy RFTs are contributing big time as well though. I am a little disappointed it being just about a year old. I would have thought the body was more rigid than that. Lately when I make my way up a ramp at a modest angle (working garage at work), I hear the dreaded dash creak which is a surefire sign of flexing. And my morning commutes through DC roads is a cacophony of crashes, rattles and clicks. I have no idea where to start when I bring this up at the dealer during an upcoming 1st scheduled service.

I dont think there is going to be a mod saga. The E92 comes well 'modded'. All I have in the way of mods planned are wheels (OEM), ipod integration, painted reflectors. I will probably do tint, but I might wait for it...

If I can find the 230's in the next month, Im all over it. If not, Im going to 189's. Attached is a pic of the 19 inch 230's...

Contacted Tischer Parts Dept. to ask about discount for BMWCCA members. Interested in a wind deflector for my E93 for the drive home from PCD in SC.

I dont know, maybe its just me but Im not feeling it. It'll take the 189s anytime, and the CSL over all the rest if I get my M coupe in 2-3 yrs.

The good thing about the e92, is that it is probably the most capable 3ser to ever be produced. Aside from a Comp M3 of course. I'm not looking to mod out my car totally, like in my ricer days. I would just like to make my 335 "mine". So I think I am going to get the M Aero kit, spolier, some rims later on this year, and maybe the Vishnu Xede ECU for some added kick under the hood.

Tischer BMW so far has the cheapest parts online, but is there anywhere else that might be not in MD? The tax on wheels for example are killer!

Any place in VA or others?
