SCOTT: Please, please, no CDV...

Please give this feedback to M division:

No CDV (clutch delay valve) on the upcoming 1///M.

This will make the car... more M Pure

Ah, good point. Aren't the M cars CDV-less? I wonder how this one will play out.

Also needs a stronger but lighter flywheel...

My M Roadster had the CDV. I just looked a the clutch control section on the 135 and 2010 M3, both have a "lock valve". I am not sure, but this part looks like it would be the CDV. The diagram looked very similar between the two cars.

My friends e36 M3 also came with a CDV. I think all BMW's come with them.

The CDV is easy enough to get rid of. No biggie.

Even more reason to have a delay valve and make the clutch disc the weak link..

Did you remove it? There are plenty of threads out there that talk about removing the CDV on their Z4 M Roadsters. I also noticed it is part part of hte clutch control in Real OEM.

My 2007 M Coupe did, so methinks you're wrong. I removed mine.
