Max camber with out plates?

Any guesses or known numbers? Speaking up front primarily.

-2.5 or more is achievable with the Turner shim kit, basically some washers that go between the knuckle and the strut. Not everyone is convinced that multiple washers there is a good thing, although a good number of E36 owners have run this without probems.

FYI BMW also sells a skinnier horizontal bolt for the top [hinge] of the strut.

See this post for more info.

I had to slightly enlarge the existing slots in my front strut towers to get both sides to even out at -2.2, with room to spare.

So if you used the Turner E36 shim kit and also moved the top of the struts as far inward as possible, how much total negative camber could you get?

How many washers do you feel comfortable using?
Probably close to -3 degrees.
