Atlanta folks, get your car in a movie

Hey all,

A good friend of mine runs an extras casting agency, and I told her I'd help out getting some extras and cars for the gig coming up (filming in August-September). She just emailed me this, so for those that fit the bill:

"For cars we need street racers anything custom anything that looks FAST, high end custom and tuner cars, as well as Nopi types.

If you are submitting a car please list as many specifics as possible and include at least two clear pictures of different views of the car.

Send photos for extras and cars to: ff5extras@gmail.com"

You do get paid for the usage of the car, per day. If selected, they'll contact you directly with more specifics such as days, call-times, etc...

Dre... thanks for the offer man, but you know that "looks fast" by those people's standards means you need to go spend a couple grand in APC accessories from the "performance" section of the AutoZone near you...

You know, I'm guessing just a variety. My friend is just starting to look for vehicles, and from her email it seems a little bit of everything.

If I remember correctly, right now it's for a big party scene...

They've set up base camp at my friend's apartment complex, I was gonna drive by and hope to see some of the cars there. If mine weren't stock I'd totally do this!!! Actually all I need is a fart can on the back and it should suffice.

i just wanted to see the movie production, sent pics of my car with a list of mods, but no response. My feelings are not hurt lol

I ended up doing the on-set detailing for many of the production company owned cars, stunt cars and a few of the extras. It was a neat experience. One of the funniest parts was them calling "lunch" at 2 am.

I think it's cool that you're a part of that! Jokes aside I love those movies. Not all of them are really good by most people's standards but it's fun to watch. After classes tomorrow I'm dropping by the base camp

It's not riced out though, all the 15k+ were invested under the hood, outside she's clean so I doubt it would make it in the movie!
