To clarify I paid slightly less than the retail price, in line with the normal discount the authorized dealers offer - but still much more than what I am selling it for.

Also since it came from an authorized dealer - it comes with a 3 year warranty on the parts, and the manufacturer will reimburse the owner for labor (pursuant to their warranty guideline) costs associated with a warranty replacement / repair.

Good price. Just curious, what was wrong with the seals. They didn't clamp the pipes down enough, initially?

^..they were not tightened down enough at install and they expanded when the system heated up so they just required a quick adjustment.

I forgot to mention that you can find soundbytes of the exhaust on the web, I think **********s.com has a sound clip on it's website.

A couple of questions. Once the clamps were tightened down there was no more drone? Also I am assuming you had to cut the stock pipes to install the Remus? How much louder was it than the stock muffler? Seriously considering this and I am local so we would not have to deal with shipping.

The stock pipes are cut to install the Remus, but all of which can be reversed fairly easily. As long as the clamps are tightened, there should not be any exhaust leaks. We've sold this exhaust to a ton of customers and they absolutely love it!

Here's the clip from our site that compares the Sport versus Race exhaust:

Good luck with the sale! It's a great exhaust system for the E9X M3!

I will take them in order...

1. Once the clamps were tightened down there was no more drone at all - when I first installed it I thought "OK it sounds good but remus no way engineered it like this" so I called up SupremePower and they said to me that basically they have sold a bunch of these...and it is in no way the it is supposed to sound like that, make sure the clamps are tight because sometimes installers might forget to really clamp them down...which almost always causes this issue - net, net I took it back, and 5 minutes later there was ZERO drone at all...Jeff from SupremePower helped out with this, and Alex at AK Motorwerk did the installation - if you are local I might recommend getting it installed there as he is now already quite familiar with it...otherwise just make sure to tell the installer...tighten the clamps

2. I did have to cut the stock pipes to install the Remus - you only need to do that if you reuse the stock pipes - I think some people end up pairing this system with some type of upgraded pipes, for me that was overkill...it sounds amazing as is...it also seems to rev a bit quicker, and feels a bit gutsier especially down low

3. I would say it is about 20% - 25% louder than the stock muffler - at idle it almost sounds exactly like stock in terms of volume, just a bit more throaty. Cold starts it really sounds amazing, and above 2k rpm it sounds fantastic - it adds more tone then volume. It is probably one of the more livable exhausts out there...that seems to be the consensus

It is also a 100% perfect fit which is nice..

At this point I have an agreement to sell it to a forum member....he was the first to contact me on the post, and I believe that this is the only way to decide - as a good number of you have contacted me.

sorry for the delayed response, I spent the last few days in Vegas
