Lease payments

Hi, can someone please help me on a lease configuration. This can't be rocket science,but to me it is! I have a 550i on order. Dealer discounts selling price to 69,900.10k per year on 36 months.
With 5000.down they want monthly payment of
$1068.00. Seems high to me. I would like to be at just under $1000.per month. Even putting multiple security deposits is doable. Can someone give me some insight here please? Thanks all.

5K down on a lease? Wow that seems like a lot...

what's the Money factor and residual. what actual options do you have on the 550i. It's always better to negotiate from invoice up, NOT from the sticker/MSRP and down...

current residual and MF for july is

36 Month – Residual 54% of MSRP – .00230 Base Rate

Given the price, those lease payments sound about right to me. $5000 "down payment" is a cap reduction of about $3500. The DP includes the first month payment.
