Need info on ordering E90 330i with SMG tranny

hi guys, im about to order an E90 330i with SMG tranmission. i've heard that the production for E90s with SMG transmission wont start until september. If thats true, would i be able to order an E90 with SMG this week? and when will the earliest SMG models come? thx so much in advance!!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Assuming production of the E90 SMG begins September, as has been said, the earliest you would able to get an E90 SMG in the states is probably October. Currently when ordering the cars the dealer doesn't provide an option to select SMG, so you won't be able to order an SMG yet. My guess is that by July-August you'll be able to place an order. It seems like a long ways off, but hopefully you'll be able to get your fix here until then
