Is there an SIB for replacing worn bushings?
My car doesn't seem to hold alignment anymore, and that seems likely to be due to worn bushings.
Is there an SIB I can point the service folks to? I don't want to take the car in and then end up hearing "couldn't reproduce, no fix." Another data point is that the car doesn't feel very stable when accelerating at high speed. I'm hoping the bushings are to blame for that too... (This is true even right after a good alignment.) Any advice would be great. Thanks! |

<bump>
I remember someone here saying they got the dealer to replace their bushings... what did you tell the dealer? (Just preparing in case they are unreasonable when I take it in. Hopefully it won't even be an issue.) |
