Rear Suspension question: Are there bolts on the top of the shock?
Just wondering if there are bolts on the top of the rear shocks like in the E36 series?
I'm getting a clunking sound in back and it sounds like something's loose on the passenger side but I can't find anything. below and it sounds like it's higher up, possibly by the upper mount. My bad. Wrong forum. I was looking for a DIY.

There is only one bolt for the rear shock, and that is for the shaft only. There are no 2 bolt RSM's like the E36.

Thanks. It's a very different design now from my old E36 M3.
