Phones have been really busy lately. While I was away in Texas I had a heck of a time getting threw to the guys as well. I just got back a couple of hours ago and have a bunch of work to catch up on (yes, that means a hardware update for you Canadian and Texas guys!). For everyone else who can't get through on the phone, just leave a message and someone will call you back by the end of the day. Or, just shoot either Dustin, Calvin or myself a PM with your phone number and one of us with call you back asap.

Cheers

Just sent you a PM... I assume my message yesterday was one of the "lost" ones.

Nothing too exciting. Actually, it bit embarrassing. The hardware update I mentioned applies to 4 cars I've tuned during the last two out-of-state tuning trips. I mistakenly used a wrong 25 cent resistor value in one of the wires in those particular Xede harnesses. This is what I troubleshooted when Presamat was nice enough to stay the night in San Antonio. The others had already left so I need to send them a new wire for them to plug into the Xede. Didn't effect the tuning or dyno power at all but it did interfere with a benign diagnostic routine. The upside, it taught me something reeeaaaly interesting about the factory ECU.

It's good news of course. And I can't share everything now, can I? j/k. Seriously though, it just provided me with some insight on how this new Seimens ECU works and what it expects from its sensors.
