Where are all the French members?

So where is everyone? I see so many expensive sports cars in Paris but hardly ever an M...I think I've seen fewer than 10 in 3 years.

Anybody have any recommendations for some nice roads not too far out of the city? Sometimes I just want a quick trip to some quiet roads for a Sunday morning blast

Bienvenue 33CV!

French member with an E90 M3 here. But I am in the US...
You may want to look up "E90M3CDFR". He lives in Paris I believe.

Any some pics of your car

Ever make it back to France?

I was on the site for a little while before as "M_Trois" (changed my name out of respect for an already existing "MTrois"), so I know about E90M3CDFR. I suspect he's the only other E90 in Paris.

Hey E90M3CDFR, did you ever get your car back from Monaco?

Will get around to posting some pics. Truth is I've never really taken any! Shows how often I take the car out She's coming up on two years and is yet to hit 10,000km.

Yup, got it back earlier this week so was able to get back there (courtesy of BMW on the TGV) and then drove back taking the D2 and Route Napoleon. Amazing drive; I am going to write it up in a few days with a couple of videos.

Lots of good places to drive around here. Try heading toward Dampierre, there are some excellent roads that way and good places to stop to eat as well.

Are you around in June; Le Mans is coming up and will be headed that way. Also later on will be going to Reims for the GP Classic.

PM me if you want more info or want to put together a drive. Have a couple of friends here who know the roads well.

Salut, les proprios de M

There are very few BMW M in France and even less M3 E90. When I see an M3 it is most often an M3 E93.
Why there are so little French on Bimmerpost is because most do not know English.

Maybe, I'll try to hit you or E90M3CDFR next time I spent a bit of time in Paris.

I noticed last year when driving through France for 1 week (and man my ///M was a dude magnet in any station d'essence) I saw not one E9X M3. No worries re Ferraris (Provence) Lambos, many 911s - even a Veyron (Nice) but not one M3!

Bit OT but I will be in Paris in a week: any suggestions of something (non touriste) I should do, or some restaurant? We will be in 11e - off of Rue Oberkampf.

Excellent - so I think there are now 4 E90M3s in Paris (three are on this board...not bad). 33CV and I have talked about meeting up. I'll PM you both - maybe this Saturday or Sunday morning early? Looks like weather will be good Sat.

Be glad to pass on all I've learned M3 wise for Paris.

Here you go...first time I recall seeing two E90 M3s in Paris (mine and 33CV) Very interesting to see the differences between a Euro-spec and US-spec car up close. I have to say that there's nothing quite like hearing the V8s in the narrow Parisian streets. Coincidentally, later same day while about 60kms outside Paris I saw an E92 M3 with ZCP black driving by.

One of these weekends coming up we'll have three M3 E90s rolling and we'll aim for some better photos early in the morning. I have a great route selected out to Dampierre - some great windy roads that are popular with the bikers too.

Hello,

I am a new member of the forum, I have been reading a lot of posts and topics for the past 2 years wishing to have my own M3 and today I might be part of the club.
I am from Toulouse, always been there since I was born. And since February of this year, I moved to Switzerland, in a city called Sion (yeah same name as the matrix city).
With my new situation, I might now be able to own my dream. At the end of the month, my contract should turn permanent and I will try to place an order on this amazing car, it will be a change because I have always been driving my first car : a 106.
I test drove the M3, it was a DCT E90 and I loved it... Maybe soon...
