Bmw 335i K&N air filter ?
Hey does any one have the 335i k and n air filter in there car yet??
I was debating on putting on in but I dont know if it will help. Anyones thoughts about this? worth it or not? |

Just the filter is huge waste of money. Cold ait intake system with oil based filters work great on naturally aspirated cars. I don't know if they have much effect on turbo cars

I agree the filter alone is ok and only really good thing is that you never have to buy another one but still oil when needed. I have the CAI on my Maxima and I noticed a difference when I ran thru the gears. Nice growl and a little bit extra on the HP's.

I have to disagree with the statment above. NA and turbo car can use more air especially turbo car. If tune properly, you can definitely get more power with a good aftermarket intake. Ask Shiv or any tuner out there, as long as it doesn't suck any hot air from the engine, turbo car love cool air, the more the better.

You can use Intakes on turbo cars. My brother has a WRX and we have a CAI in his turbo. No so much did it make more power but the sound was nice. Also I have never had a problem with the K&N filters and the oil. When you clean them and re-oil them you have to give them the proper dry time. Its like 2 hours or something.
