Detailer's Domain: 911 Turbo X50 Cab/Massive Paint Correction
A very very good customer picked up this mint condition P-car (okay mint less the paint work) This is one of those cars that come to you super wet super gloss till you put it in direction sunlight or under the Fenix, Sun Gun, Halogens....can never figure out how they get that glossy .... glaze...
Take a look, enjoy! What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with P21S Wheel Gel and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down - Engine cleaned up with P21S TAW and dressed with einszett Vinyl Rubber Care - Wash down and rinsed - Convertible Top Cleaned and Protected - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Paint inspected and measured - Wheels were removed and protected with Swissvax Autobahn - Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray, Brake Calipers were protected with SV Autobahn - Tires dressed with einszett Vinyl Rubber Care - 2 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue) - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Swissvax Divine - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned Interior Detail - All interior surfaces cleaned and protected, including glass, and all vinyl/plastic surfaces. - Carpets and upholstery vacuumed. Products used: (feel free to click the link below for more info) Exterior: Adam's Car Wash P21S Total Auto Wash (engine, presoak, wheel wells, tires) Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Raggtopp Cleaner and Fabric Protectant Swissvax Clay Bar and Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer Einszett Spray Wax Meguiars M105 Menzerna PO85RD Swissvax Divine Wheels/Tires/Engine P21S Wheel Cleaner einszett Vinyl Rubber Care - Tires, wheel wells, engine Interior: einszett Interior Kit Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Flex 3403 Makita Metabo The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Cam Spray Pressure Wash and Foam Canon Attachment Interior: Interior was in pretty good shape, used einszett Cockpit to treat the plastics, einszett Leathercare for the Leather trim, Adam's Glass Cleaner for the windows, vac....take a look Before      After   Engine cleaned up with P21S Total Autowash and dressed with einszett Vinyl Rubber Care Before  After  Wash/Wheels Wheels cleaned up the rinsed down      Sorry no foam shots just rinse down (super cold out when we were doing this car)   Claying with the Uber Blus Clay Bar and Optimum No Rinse  Masking down the car and using the Uber Masking Paper to cover the top and the windows from all the dusting. (pretty make shift but got the job done)   Okay so how bad was the car take a look at the before compound/polish shots   50/50 of the hood after M105  50/50 of the hood after PO85RD     Metabo in action  Before door panel shots   After door shot (M105 and PO85RD)     Another action shot  Dust everywhere from the paint correction    Checking the paint outside and the final rinse         Swissvax Divine   Wheels were removed for SV Autobahn and access for wheel well detail Wheels were cleaned/and waxed   Before    Calipers were waxed  After     Final touches Black Wow on the bumperettes and plastic trim  Before   After  Final Shots:                   (Permission was granted by the owner to post photos and write up) Thanks Dan and Tom! |
