Hi Alex,
Sorry to here about your wet carpet! This has just happened to my X3 with 10ltrs of screen wash! This is a common fault with X3s and BMW now realise that putting a splitter inside the car is not realy a good idea! My car was out of warranty by two weeks when this happened. BMW striped out the front seat and carpets repaired the pipe all on a good will. I didnt have to pay jack! The bill would of set me back £ 1800 Overall the car has been back to BMW eight times now with variouse faults! Im now in the process of writing a ten page sh.ty letter to BMW UK. Why not try your main dealer? |

hi thanksfor your comment,I went to main dealer, solihull,
"I've been with bmw for 10 years ,never seen this problem before! It's common on the x5tho" i might isolate the rear wash wipe as it was booked in to fix a leak in the rear spoiler, what a *****ing system eh?????? or bypass their system and install my own |

Hi
took it to my local garage, they took the carpets and seats out and reconnected the little bl***dy conector!!!!!! it took them ages, they had to suck up 4 gallons of washer fluid, and dry the carpet they did me a deal 'cause i've been with them for 30 plus years, i dread to think how much the incredibly un helpfull bmw dealer would have charged. please let me meet the burk who designed this in a dark alley late at night |
