headlight problem

For some reason I feel like my headlights are pointed too low but i'm not sure how to check this to verify, also they bounce ALOT. My old E92 never bounced this much and it really annoys me. Any way to adjust this or anything. I've tried searching....thanks guys

I have the same problem with my headlights, except they are pointed too high, and they bounce A LOT too, especially when there are bumps in the road.

I have headlights from Europe though, I don't know if that's the problem though.

I hope someone can help us out. -_-

Yeah, you can adjust them.

Just open the hood and turn the SEARCH BUTTON

Also, check out this service bulletin: http://www.bmwtis.com/tsb/bulletins/...p/B631007g.htm

My dealership says it's normal, though.

You can point your low beams higher by doing the following:

Open the hood and you'll see the (+) screw that you can adjust..... look around the back of the headlight and it's right on top and positioned at a slight angle. Use a 6mm allen key to turn the screw. Clockwise to raise the headlight beam, and counter clockwise to lower the headlight beam.

And it's normal for HID headlights to flicker when you go over a bump.

ok cool, i'll try that out tomorrow. Yeah they bounce with every single vibration in the road, even the most minor ones. I might have to take it in for that
