OTC method of removing shine from leather
Hi, I need a good OTC way of removing the shine from my leather seats. The side and thigh bolsters are starting to get shiny with about 48K miles on the car.
I've searched but need a definitive answer on what members have used. I've read that diluted woolite will clean the leather, but the magic eraser is bad. I've been using Lexol pH balanced cleaner/conditioner, but it doesn't seem to remove the shine and it smells like crap. Are there ANY good over the counter products that will remove the shine and restore the matte on BMW leather? |

As you describe your seats, it's likely you will need heavy cleaning. That's why lexol didn't work.
At that point, your best bet is leatherique, which is not OTC. All the stuff you mentioned are risky. |
