I'm sure everyones read about the hp/torque gains with the new Vishnu xede and exhaust, and I'm sure there are many others eager to get it. The only draw back is thelong drive to the bay area, and I was wondering if were any others here in socal that would be interested in doing a group buy on the xede and exhaust in order to convince Shiv to travel down to socal, rather than each of us driving up north. If interested, please post if you want Xede and Exhaust or just the Xede. Also, post your county, city, and when you'd like to pull the trigger and make the purchase.

I'm only doing the Xede as well, going to be getting the Milltek exhaust kit on my car prior to this piggyback map. However, I'm still interested in getting Shiv down to the socal area to do some tuning. Anyone know a good place to rent a dyno or even use a dyno in socal?

Hello all.

I'm moving to Newport Beach (from Hawaii) in early February. I ordered an e90 335 6 speed for December production from a SoCal dealer and it should be ready in early February when I arrive. I will be ordering the XEDE chip immediately thereafter.

I'm thinking Late Jan, If not the first week of Feb?
It looks like the Majority of people here are in the OC, so maybe you guys can make some suggestions as to where to meet.

As soon as we get this organized I transpose this information to Shiv and post the details here.

The kit is worth every penny...it's a totally different car after...make the drive up it's not that bad...there's actually more tuned cars from LA than there are from SF...

I have no problem with going to technic, considering thats our only suggestion thus far I think it may be the front runner

I've been in communication with Shiv and he is definitely willing to come down, we just need to finalize the day and inform him of it within a reasonable time frame.

I'll throw some dates out there to see where everyone stands.

Hows:
Jan 29nd or 30th?(Monday/Tuesday)

Or

Feb 12th/13th? (Monday/Tuesday)

FWIW, the dyno location I usually use when I do dyno days in Socal is Tuning Technologies in Colton. About 10 minutes away from Fontana. Kinda out in the boonies. But if you guys find something better/closer/more convenient/etc,. that's fine too.

I will also have a custom exhaust package going on my car in the next few weeks.
A very reputable shop will be doing a custom 335 sedan set up on my car very soon.

Some of the Audi guys will probably know the shop and it's reputation.

Weekdays are BAD for me.
I work 70 hour weeks on a tv show, so I would need a Saturday or Sunday for my tuning !!!!!
