just get dci and call it a day. for a price of one afe or injen, i can get 2 set and some change so that i can clean it up while i'm driving with other set...

the gain from intake on forced induction car is minimal as compared to NA cars...

unless you have supporting mods the intake is going to offer minimal performance gains if not performance loss due to heat soak. i would wait around for the closed box designs to start popping up everywhere, that is where the power will be

the stock airbox actually does a really good job at sucking air in....your call, but i would wait for a closed airbox design

some intake manuf. calims that gain from their intake could be as much as twenty some hp but most of people who dyno'd their car got less than 10whp (mostly around 5whp) and in some occasion, people actually lost hp...

it makes cool sounds and i do feel it frees up a bit on highway cruising over 80+miles but other than that, i don't feel much of difference... complete opposite from what i felt with oem (more power down low). so i dunno. if you haven't tried, just go buy one off local members and try on. there are few local members selling or thinking about selling it. you can get one for $70~80 and if you don't like it you can sell it at that... very last install took me 12 minutes...

it's hard to see the difference on dyno because most dyno setup doesn't have enough air flow to mimic the actual driving condition...
