5 days with the 335 and a $2300 Hydrolic pump!!!!

Finally got my 328 back last nite. Took 5 days repair but it was ok cuz the 335 vert was pretty nice. Even had a heated steering wheel!!!!!

My car brake lights lit up like a Christmas tree. Also had a bulb out. Funny coincidence.

Long of it was a faulty Hydraulic pump and pump connector. This is for the DSC, ABS, Brakes, etc and that parts alone were $2300. The bill would have been about $3000! They replaced the DSC and programmed the entire car, reset the steering angle sensor and calibrated the DSC.

I did a search and found just one occurance on these forums.

Without it turning into a warranty discussion, I wanted to both inform the crowd and ask if this has happend to anyone else.

Now I see a better reason to change that brake oil (is it the one) every 2 years as required by BMW.
