I found a worthless Zaino product

It has to be the Zaino Z16 tire dressing...sorry but that thing doesn't last a day on the wheels. Just don't know where it disappears...

Don't get me wrong, I like Zaino very much, but the Z16 is just not up to the task...

I also heard that the clay is terrible.

I had the same experience with Z16. In fact, I am still looking for the 'perfect' dressing.

Thanks for letting us know. I am about to order some tire dressing and was seriously considering Zaino.

Maybe somebody could recommend a different product that really works and lasts for weeks.

The tire dressing I usually turn to is Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel. It's a concentrate you dilute down 3:1 so a 32oz bottle makes a gallon of tire dressing. It sits nicely on the tires and gives a nice gloss to it and seems to last through a couple washes / rain storms. Bang for the buck it's an excellent option.

I have the Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gell and it works really well. I like the fact I can dilute it to achieve different shines. It does last longer than most dressings that I have tried

If you don't like the Z16, you can send it to me if it's that bad!

My only direct comparison is to the Meguiar's & Ultima products, but I've liked the Z16 since I've been using it. I'd say it looks freshly applied for about a week, and then starts to disappear. I like the more natural dark-rubber look as opposed to a high-gloss shine.

But since I'm not married to Zaino and willing to experiment, I'll look for the Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel and give it a try.

I find the Zaino Z16 works great and lasts a week or so if it doesn't rain. I second that Zaino clay is not that great.

meguiars hyper dressing...

mixed 2:1, apply two coats and your tires will look pretty good! Not super glossy, but not dull either!

another is tufshine tire sealant! degrease the tire completely and let it dry, then apply a smooth application - lasts a few weeks with two coats!

You must not be cleaning the tires well prior to using it. It's not the best out there if you are looking for shine, that's for sure, but it does the job well in my opinion, and it smells great too

Z16 works great for me as long as the tires are dry when I apply it. It lasts about a week for me.

The Zaino clay bar stinks. Falls apart and sticks everywhere even when I use a higher concentration of their car wash. I've had great results with Griot's clay bar.

The only Zaino product I don't use much is the glass polish, Z12.

Guys, Griot's Garage "Long Lasting Tire Dressing" is the BEST! It lasts even after 3 washes!!

The glass polish works very well, but you still need to clean the glass (I use Invisible Glass) after polishing. I usually do wash, clay, polish, Invisible Glass on my windows and they look great.

As long as you properly clean your tires, Z-16 will last a few weeks.

I've tried many.

I find armor all and black magic are great for shine -- their gel that is.

Zaino tire dressing

I like Zaino's tire dressing. It doesn't last weeks, but it looks good when applied. And it never leaves residue or turns your sidewalls brown like every other product I've tried. I would recommend it. It does not leave your tires glossy and wet looking. They do look dark black though, which I like.
