ONR at a Self Wash?

So I live in Alberta where it is against the law to drain out water from washing your car into the storm drains. So unless you are just spraying down your car you have to go to a self wash to clean you car. During the winter they use gravel and dirt (instead of salt) to combat icy roads so my car does get dirty quick during the winter. My question is this:

Can I use ONR (cut with water maybe!) in a spray bottle to loosen the dirt and then use a high pressure wash to rinse it? Right now all I do is spray down the car about once a week so the dirty doesn't cake up, but I still ahve residue dirt left on the car. Will using ONR help?

Using ONR will definitely help. Do you think you would have the opportunity to bring a bucket, fill it with their water, and use ONR or other car soap the normal way?

If you are going to go for a true waterless wash (ONR is technically a no-rinse wash), you would want to mix the ONR very strong - I believe they recommend a ratio of 8:1 ONR:Water but please double check.

Or, you can buy something like Poorboy's Spray & Wipe (link to DI who don't ship to Canada anymore, but gives you the idea).

I'd continue what you're doing, then bring the car home and give it a quick regular ONR wash. Using the pressurized water will remove all the loose dirt, and ONR will be able to safely clean the paint.
