The fellas already mentioned the warranty in the US; not sure if it's different for Canada. Contact the SA. Sorry to hear the bads news on your new purchase, but welcome to the club. Last edited by LagMode335i; 03-21-2010 at 02:17 PM.. Reason: spelling |

Bring it to the dealer as soon as possible. I had this happen to me. They fixed it under warranty.

yeah just take it to the dealer. I had my turbos replaced twice already. There is a whole thread out there for just this problem. Just do a search for the HPFP problem and you will get all the answers you need. There should be a warranty from BMW for up to 120,000 miles but I havent seen anything official yet. I would ask the dealer. If you are able to get the dealer to replace your turbos at no cost then also ask if they can use the new turbos with the different part number. The problem is that BMW is replacing the faulty turbos with more faulty turbos because they have to get rid of the faulty turbos first. Honestly if you bitch loud enough at the dealer you can get anything done. I have.

If your car is out of warranty. Do a search for a BMW independent repair shop. Make sure they specialize in BMW. It will cost you a lot less than the dealer overpriced rates.

its the BEST bmw site online for parts, its TISCHER BMW dealership, they have branched out to a discount online store for their parts, your are ordering from a dealer for 20% cheaper, have your VIN ready and the order will be 100% accurate

Ultraslan,
You have two options: 1) Order the parts and attempt to DIY 2) Go see Rocco at RMP motors (google rmp motors for their info) - he gets good prices on parts and is an expert working on BMW's. He can fix you up. getbmwparts.com is a good website. I have spent several thousand dollars there and have always had good customer service. |

The real question is . . . why on Earth would you buy a BMW without a warranty??? Can you buy the 6 yr / 100,000 mile warranty still and have the injectors replaced that way? Trust me, the $3.5k for that warranty will pay for itself with injectors, HPFP's, and the other rainbow of 335i issues.
Another thing to think about is your 60k mile (95k km) inspection, that can run you $1000+ depending on the problems.
