New to the Bimmer family
Just picked up a new to me 2007 SGM 335i 6MT/Sport/Premium/Cold weather package with 39K miles. It was from an independant dealer but i ran it through our local BMW shop for a pre-purchase inspection and it came up clean as a whistle with the remainder of the factory warranty intact. I love it! It is a frickin' rocket ship compared to my old truck. I'll post pictures tomorrow after a proper washing and waxing.

High Pressure Fuel Pump....known to go on the fritz every so often. Don't be alarmed once it does (engine light goes on, engine with cross sign flickers, etc.) but it's fixable. Make sure you have a roadside assistance in the event it happens to you.

Hey, we have the same car, with the same options! I have the aluminum trim and no navi...I wanted a driver's car...that's just me and I don't know what you got in yours, but great minds think alike on the rest....LOL I am assuming with your sig and location, that you are a Mainiac (correct me if I'm wrong), like my wife, who grew up in Gorham. We also lived in Portland and I know that with the conditions of the area, you will totally enjoy your ride!...in July... If you live in the other Portland, you will still enjoy your ride! Hahaha, covered my bases... About the HPFP, it is covered under warranty and I have had mine done so don't worry about it. It's true, what they say, though, about never letting your fuel gauge go below 1/4 tank, else you will have HPFP troubles....always fill up at or above 1/4 tank of gas for worry free driving... Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for the welcome! No chance to do a good wash and wax today, it rained most of the day but I'll get up some pics soon.
Flip - I'm in the "other" Portland, on the West coast. p.s. I was kidding about what I said about the HPFP, I've been lurking for about a year and read all about it... I figure as long as it's covered under warranty it's the price of admission to driving one of the sweetest cars on the road.
