Wanted: 162's w/o Tires
Looking to get a 2nd set of 162's for my 330... would like to have a winter set... if anyone in the US or Canada has a set they're willing to sell, please PM me off-list. Also, any recommendations for winter tires? We get a few snow days a year, but more so, the peace of mind of having a good set of winters will make me sleep better. So, what tire/brand should I look at? Thanks |

I am getting Pirellis for my new e90 but had experience with both Toyo and Michellin and I liked the Toyo's a lot...they weared better and the performence winter (Garrit's) handled a lot better too...I bought my tires from Tirerack but they don't carry Toyo's....

There is another thread on this, but I'd suggest you go for smaller than 18" for the winter wheels. The general opinion is that for 330i with ZSP, you should go for 17". tirerack.com has a Blizzak offering which I'll probably go for, but some say Blizzaks have disadvantages. Check out the other posts under the wheels and tires section
