How can i remove ink pen stains on my leather in my e92

I've used the hairspray trick for fairly fresh stains of ink. Get some hairspray and some q tips, spray the q tip with hairspray and work the ink lines. Then clean off the hairspray and condition the leather area that was cleaned.
