Help! Quarter is stuck!
Getting change out of the ash tray for the drive through and one of them, somehow through some miracle of physics, jumps into the space above the ashtray cover! Now the cover won't open all the way unless the quarter slides around back there. How do I get it out?

Lol, maybe you can get a Popsicle stick and put double-sided tape or some other adhesive

This. It's actually not very hard to do. Look on the p3cars.com website on how to install the vent guage. In there is a DIY on how to remove the center console trim. Good luck!

I had a screwdriver fall in my radiator fan, tried for hours to get it out...stopped by pep boys and bought a magnet...got it out in 10 seconds.
Get a magnet, it'll more than likely solve your problem. |

I have an extendable magnet "pen" that elongates to about 2 feet. Really useful and has helped me many times. Go to any hardware store they should have it. Or try removing the trim...I do this almost everytime I clean...really easy.

+1 I found lots of change behind there! Remember to pull the shift knob REALLY hard!

You don't have to remove anything. I lost a lot of quarters behind there one day, and before i had the time to really dive in there all of the change worked itself back into the bay for the removable ash tray. My ash tray lid also wouldn't rotate back the whole way then when i noticed that it did i lifted the ash tray out and saw part of the quarters sticking out from under the back wall. Just be careful to pull them out instead of pushing them back in.
Unfortunately you only have the 328...might not have the torque to free them up on their own. I've also lost change under the vents below the passenger seat...those are impossible to get out. |
