1 series M car question....

Hey guys,

Like most of u I'd been waiting for new on the "M1" for a while now. I read an idea once of the 1 series M car to have the spirit of the Original e30 M3. Sounds like an amazing product that Id be willing to wait for. BUT i have a problem with most of you photoshoppers on this forumboard. That problem is your concept of the M1. You make your pictures and such out to look like a regular 1 series. I do like the look of the current 1 but I dont think they did an amazing job on the headlights.

Heres the point:

How many of you seriously think BMW will keep the current headlight/tail light/chubby kid design for the "M1". The way I see it. BMW knows very well the M1 needs to be more aggresive and those headlights make it look like the M3s chubby little brother ( I have a chubby little bro I know these things lol ).

Point being is.... can someone please try and photoshot something different the a regular 1 series.... I mean BMW is bringing out updates right and left on the e90 and x5 and even a new 5 soon. U think your headlights will last 2 maybe 3 more years?

No hate here.... just my opinion. If the M1 wasnt so real to come out soon Id probably buy a 135i myself.

No one knows. It can only happen if they make a new standard, M-package and Performance bumper. But I do think they will get LED corona rings and blinkers.

Looking at the M3 for example, it has always had the same headlight design as the regular 3 series coupe. Even when the regular 3 goes through a LCI, the M3 typically keeps the original headlight design. I believe Scott mentioned that the headlights would remain the same, but the front fascia would be designed to give an appearance of "eyebags" under the lights.
