SF Body Shop (Paint)
For those of you from the Bay area!
So My car got keyed pretty badly when I was parked in Palo Alto. It covers multiple panels and goes down to the metal in a couple areas... Damn degenerates!! Anyway, I am looking to get it fixed and wanted to know which bodyshops you guys recommend. The one referred to me by BMW of SF has crappy reviews. I have no idea how they are going to fix it either. Whats the best way to deal with keyed marks? refill it or repaint the entire panels? This sucks... Any help would be appreciated V |

I go to German motors collision Center In sf, it used to be owned by bmw of sf but it went solo a few years back. They are the absolute best!!! Very Expensive but it will look just as good as new or better as far as blending paint. If it is going to go through insurance it is definitely worth it!

I take my Porsche to rj's paint shop in Pleasanton the absolute best hands down he works on all types of cars and does a variety of things. Paint, accident repair etc...he does a lot of exotics definitely worth it especially if through insurance...amazing quality work I can't stress that enough.

I've been going to Cambron Auto Body in San Carlos, the guy who works there (Jesus) gives me the absolute best price on paint jobs and installs. I'm very price sensitive but I don't even argue with the prices he gives me. Make sure to bargain it down with him, and pay cash upon completion.

that german motors collision center looks kind of promising. I had a front bumper replaced and went through rj's. space gray i hear is hard to match, but I want it redone. then recently I was hit by somebody from the back. im scared to get any replacement because its going to not match on the front and the back and then fuck. ill stick with my creased rear bumper for the remainder of this cold weather

His attention to detail is amazing and he's a great guy He's worked on countless amount of E9x and a ton of them are on this forum. I know it's a little far for you, but if you want a proper paint match and someone who has a lot of experience working on these cars, RJ is the definitely the shop to go to 3715 Old Santa Rita Road Pleasanton, CA 94588-3482 (925) 730-4911 |
