what's the difference?
between xenon and led lights?
im trying to get an interior lighting kit but i don't know which one is better or if they'e the same..help? |

For interior light kits, xenon is actually xenon colored filament bulbs which will be a little dimmer than the stock bulbs. The LED kit are actual LED bulbs and are much brighter than interior stock bulbs. I'd stick with stock.

DarkRyan323 is spot on...when referring to interior lights, Xenon means a blue coated filament bulb, LED is an actual LED bulb. LEDs will be brighter and whiter but typically more expensive than the filaments.
In reality, a xenon bulb is a bulb filled with xenon gas that emits light through an electric arc rather than a filament. |

Led = light emitting diode which is a small type of light bulb. Xenon is the type of gas a different kind of bulb is filled with.

I've seen the real LED interiors on the mercedes and it looks tight. Really nice light output yet still easy on the eyes.
Really want to convert to something like that. Looks real fresh. |
