About to hit 50k in my 07 e92 - what should i look for before my warranty expires?

Hey all,

I just bought a used silver 2007 335i coupe with 47k miles on it. Im about to hit 50k, so I was wondering what i should keep an eye out for before the bmw warranty expires.

Current issues i am having:
driver seat belt retractor doesnt close properly
interior trim is loose
left exhaust rattles at start up and shut down (sounds like little rocks in my exhaust)
my car will occasionally stutter when im rolling/idling

That's it so far... any other suggestions? Thanks!

Once 50k hits - im going for the jb3 and DCI

There is a place near me that actually advertises that they will do an inspection to check on things that warranty will cover and look for problems, then create a sort of grocery list for you to give to your dealer. They recommend doing it a couple k miles before your warranty is up and specialize in BMW work. I don't know if they are a ripoff or not, but if you're concerned you might want to try to find someone near you....

i would suggest to get all the latest software updates, especially idrive, if you have it. interior trim thats peeling would be a good thing to get replaced too.

You could take it to bmw and have them do one of their inspections on it. I don't know how much that would cost though.

thats a good question, but that person would need to specialize in bmw's and how they operate if you were really going to get anything out of it.
