Any one with DDM HID Fogs?

I got DDM's slim HID kit and am trying to use it for my fog lights, but I cant get them to work. I have switched the wires to the ballast and still nothing. I have an 09 e92, did anyone else have issues with this kit?

Did you get resistor packs? These are required for the fogs to work properly.

These are resistor packs:

Since HID Fogs were never an OEM option, the bulbcheck system is cutting power (not detecting resistance normally found in halogen bulbs) thinking the stock halogen bulb is blown or not present.

I had the DDM HID kit and the left side kept going out. I even replaced the ballast and it happened again. Also the plugs don't fit properly from the resister to the ballst. My shop had to rewire them. I finally gave up and just got new ballasts.

I have an 09 and I had to get resistors.

The plugs fit fine but I still haven't been able to get them to turn on.

Try reversing the connection at the bulb. For some reason the wires going to the bulb are revcersed on some kits.

I am not sure if it is the same since I do not know which side of he ballast and if there is anything after the ballast before the bulb. It is very odd but i switched wires on 3 places before switching at the bulb iteself and that is what finally worked. May want to try just for shits and giggles.

have them, love them, get them...you dont need resistors but you need capacitors to get them to work... Search under ddm tunning there is a hugh thread that i posted my findings about the electrical system. The error elimiators type 3 and type 4 are a waste of money..go to radio shack and get capacitors!
