Thumbs down Adaptive headlight stuck?

So I hit a pothole last night and now my driver's side projector is actually stuck pointed upward (skyward). I am going to take the wheel well off tonight and see if i can get it to line back up. Has the projector simply been thrown out of place by the jolt? Has something in the unit bent to allow this range of movement or is it as simple as reaching in and maneuvering the projector assembly back into its native position? I have swapped all the bulbs in the front of the car which is why I have to get in there anyways to change the bulbs back to stock if a dealership visit is required. Any input is appreciated. I looked for an assembly diagram online to show to inner workings of the adaptive technology, but did not find anything.

Check to make sure the leveler arm didn't pop off the suspension control arm.

are both of these components accessible through the back of the assembly?

Turn the wheels to the left, look into the drivers side fenderwell. There is a ballcup/linkage attached to the lower suspension arm. Make sure its still there.

you are the man my friend. Sure enough the linkage had popped off the ball-hinge. I pivoted the whole projector assembly with my hand towards the ground and the ball popped back into place! voila. Sure beats swapping all the bulbs and heading to the dealership. thanks for your help
