NEW Memmber 335D Barbera Red.
Hello,
My name is Daniel and I am new member to this site. I just purchased a 335D Barbera Red 10 days ago. I really like the car and starting to understand why I made my decission. Having been to Europe many times I have always requested a diesel engine. First of all diesel is more economical and you tend to get more torque on lower gears. When I went shopping for a car was looking for a manual transmission and stumbed on a 335d by accident. During the test drive the 335d surprised me a lot. You do not really know how this car drives unless you sat behind the wheel. In addition there was a $4500 credit given and I shaved another 3K fromk that. This made me sign the paperwork. I have 800 miles on the car and love driving even for no apperent reason. Anyway it has been great reading all the post and I will post some pictures soon. Daniel. |

I bough it. It was considered a demo and had 140 miles on it.

Congrats! If I were buying today, I would probably get a diesel since I drive so many miles.

The 335d rules!
I went to buy a 335 petrol and drove away in the diesel happily stitched up by my friend the dealer, I emailed a deal to him on a 325d M-Sport and they "made it work" on their 335d M-Sport :-) demo with 5000kms on it.... |

It's a sweeeet ride at a sweeet price. Welcome to the club.
I love the driving experience but there is a downside: Most diesel pumps in my area are attached to gas pumps, and while most gas stations have 8 - 12 gas pumps, they generally only have 1 or 2 diesel pumps. It's no fun waiting for someone to finish filling their car with gas at the only diesel pump at the station when all of the other gas pumps are available. I think I sort of freaked out the last guy I was waiting on. He couldn't figure out why I wouldn't pull up to one of the other pumps. Oh well. |
