Possible to install folding rear seats?

Hi folks-

Is it possible to install folding rear seats on a 2009 335i that currently doesn't have the option installed? If so, how much of a headache is it and how much should it run?

I'm looking at buying a used 335i and have found one that I'm interested in. My only hang-up with it is that the rear seats don't come down.

Thanks!

Not worth the money. It would cost a lot.

Unfortunately not. Previous owner only put in premium and sport packages and then added the heated seats separately.

Agree that folding rear seats should be standard on all cars. Not being able to put them down really limits functionality!

That was one of the reasons I ordered an E90 actually, my E46 wasn't spec'd with folding rears.

Some e9x rear seats dont fold down? Hows that possible? Why would they do something like that? Ive never seen a car whos back seats didnt fold down to make extra trunk space.

Yea, it's only standard in the E92. It's definitely some bullshit on BMW's part!

OP is talking about the latch in the trunk, that makes the seats fold down right? So bmw makes two sets, one that fold down, and ones thats locked in place. Figures since they makes 6 different steering wheels for the same car.

I dont remember that being an option anywhere when I built my car, but im glad I got them.

That's because the E92 comes standard with folding seats, but the E90 does not (for whatever reason).
