335D Break in Period.
Just got my 335d one week ago. I alreeady have 700 mileson it. I am taking it easy ad trying to get to the 1500 mile mark. The break in period in the manual states not to top 3500rpm or 100 mph. Any opinios or advice on properly breaking in an engine??

I put on a 1000 miles before I opened it up and found the top end. Now, I drive it like I stole it.

There isn't a whole left after break-in rpms. It's rather anti-climatic considering what it feels like in the first 1200 miles. Just wait for the incoming Evolve re-map!

Have only had my 335d since August 15. Have about 750 miles on it. I recall that the Owner's Manual said to go easy for the first 1200 miles; not to exceed 3500 rpm or 93 miles an hour. I think the 100 miles an hour was for the 335i.
