anybody replaced the cylinder head for 05-08 N52 engine?

i noticed my car have some clicking sound recently.so i took to dealer to check.but i still heard the sound after first serivce so i took back again.and they said need to replace the cylinder head.is anyone did that?want to hear about your story.
and i did search this forums and find that is something like "valve lifter" problem on 05 to 08N52 engine.

My cylinder head was replaced due to the ticking sound coming from the lifters. You are not alone on this:

my friend is a was a tech at durham bmw and he has done about 45+ cylinder head replacements. He said they all have the ticking sound but they are fine by all means. apparently that dealership is no longer replacing heads. Either way he said that there was never a performance issue with them just a noise.

mine have 60000ish km.make sure u didn't have this problem or fix that within warranty.

yeah,still within warranty.i still have couple month left,that's y i want to make sure fixed the problem b4.and i tried to call u last nite and want to tell u check your car.
