My sales person from BMW just called me and told me about this program. BMWFS will take care of lats 3 month of your lease and put you into new car...program ends September first, 09.... Does anyone know details about this program?

it was awesome... i did it in may..not sure if the deal is the same but the pull ahead required the dealer to buy your car . it dosnt go back to bmw financial.. there was no over milage charge, no charges for minor dents and scratches. i was blown away . i was 2,000 miles over and had dings everywhere.

Sounds like a straight come up for you. Too bad my lease doesn't end for another 2+ years.

Actually, the way BMW typically does pull-ahead programs, the dealer isn't required to buy the car - if they don't want to buy the car, there is no possibility of taking advantage of the pull-ahead program.

They have it now. I got out of my lease a month early at no cost to me to get into my '09.

So this is a dealer discretionary program?

I guess they have to want the car and in the condition and milage you are giving it to them for the deal to fly..

I don't know if this was directed to me, but I did not lease the new one. I went ahead and bought it for a few reasons, one of which was the 1.9%.

I had an '06 325i leased through 9/22. Last payment would have been due 8/22. Picked up the new car on 8/19 and financed through BMWFS, so I walked away without making my last payment on the '06, with the disposition fee waived, and my dealer didn't ding me for anything on the old car. Great and easy transaction all around.

Over 80% of ALL BMW dealers are Full Circle dealers and do not send their cars back to BMWFS

Mercedes has been doing this for years. Many companies do it. But you usually pay a little higher to make up for it....

Not always, but sometimes. It's best to get a great deal set in place and then be like "I also want to do the pull ahead program"
you don't want them to take your car back and increase your monthly payments now do you?

My dealer declined to do this, as I put on 18k miles/year on my car. My 3 year lease is up in December. Oh well, now I'm starting to really think about that S4 anyway...
