OBDII Scangauge, how do I get one?

I want to get one of these for my car. How can I get one and what can I get from the car with this device? I have read a few things that have me curious about this now.

Just for a regular scan guage? Go to Harbor Freight and get one for 40 bucks.
Bt cable? Got to BMS.
