The OEM exhaust has a big rubber donut-type thing welded on one pipe. Must be a vibration dampener of some kind.

Has anybody experimented with welding it onto aftermarket exhaust to lessen the drone? If yes, can you buy just that part?

it wont make it drone any less, the only thing it may fix is the rear rattle that everyone experiences, but i even doubt it will do that

I have zero rattles and drones on my HKS. I think it is more a function of the exhaust choice personally. Have you guys made sure all your flanges are tight or if welded there are no leaks?
