Removing paint overspray

I'm looking for the best way to remove paint overspray. I have heard that a clay bar would do the job, but I figured I'd give the forums a shot. Thanks!

Starting with a clay bar is a good idea, bug and tar remover work as well.

+1 maybe even try a medium grade clay if a fine grade doesnt do the trick, but you may need to polish after. dont get to agressive on it, as far as wet sanding and such.

id say the farthest you should go is using an proffesional grade clay on overspray it should pick that right off the car ..if that doesent resort to using a medium grade polish (after claying) witch should bring everything out.

hope that helps,Jon

Got overspray? Go to the local auto paint supplier and let them know, they will sell you the correct clay for the job.

I tried to clay it with Mothers but it didnt seem to do the trick. What would you guys recommend as far as a professional grade clay? Or should I just take it to a detail place?
