Codes 3100 & 2A82

Can anyone explain why the car throw these codes ?
One night i was pushing my car very hard and I got into limp mode.
Should i check for a boost leak ?
Btw. runing without a tune(not for long), only a cat back miltek exhaust.

3100:
3100 boost-pressure control, deactivation
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed

2A82:
2A82 Inlet-Vanos variable cam control test
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed

3100 is just an indication that a limp mode occured.

The vanos related code however is something I'd get sorted out by the dealer.

Your vanos is sticking or mechanically jammed. May need a solenoid replacement.

I'm reviving this thread as a friend of mine has a VANOS error code... he had it replaced two times on the dealership and the code remains.

What the solenoid has to do with VANOS error?

It depends what vanos code. Can't diagnose without a code.

Thread bump. I'm seeing 2A82 "Inlet-Vanos variable cam control test" and 3100 (and cat conversion, but I am assuming that is unrelated, though I do have catless DPs). How do I diagnose, before going to the dealer? Can I do it through the BT tool?

[edit] is it safe to keep clearing this code, or should I leave it on?

Just scanned my car with the bt tool and got the two exact codes. I haven't felt a difference in performance at all though. Weird?
