1200 Mile Service - Recommend Dealer in Atl or Orlando
My AW E92 w/DCT finally arrived from doing ED this week and I will be picking up at BMW of South Atlanta. Problem is I've only put 800 miles on the odometer. I am close, but not close enough to getting the service and I live in Texas. The plan is to bring the fam and go to Disney which will will put the miles on the car, but then I will need to do the service.
With all of the oil overfill, change out DCT fluid issues that can occur with the car, can any of you recommend a decent dealer near ATL of Orlando that is trusted to perform the service correctly. Please let me know. Neo |

If you do it in Orlando, take it to the Fields BMW dealer in Winter Park and request Brian Menihan as your SA.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I was getting concerned about using Fields as they seem to be the only game in town. I will give him a call.

I hate to be a necro-poster and dig this up, but I figured it may be better than an all new post.
I just called down to Fields BMW in Winter Park to request Brian Menihan as my SA for my 1200 Mile Break-In Service. Unfortunately Brian is now the service manager across the street at the Mini dealership. He did however recommend Richard Gaffney as my SA and even mentioned to request Nick Trapp as my technician. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for an SA in Orlando in the future! |

I live in Orlando, but I go to Field's in Lakeland. I think the SA's name is Tina. I've only had the 1200 mile service done. I told her that I'm ridiculously anal and don't want anyone driving the car. They let me drive it in and out of the bay and walked me through everything they were going to do. The nice thing about Lakeland is that it has much lower service volume, and they seem to be able to take their time. Lakeland is closer than Winter Park to Disney.
