Smile Need your help...2007 328i

Hi everybody, I searched for answers but I found none. Does any of you know how to adjust the height of the stream of water that comes out of the widshield washers? The left one in my car is way too high (even the trunk gets wet when I use the washers) and the right one is way too low. Any ideas, suggestions? Also, does anybody know how to remove the center brake light housing in my car? I got the car about a month ago and I am trying to detail it and that center light housing is full of crumbs and dirt and so I really need to clean it; that and the part of the rear winshield it covers. Many thanks for your help...this forum rocks and God I love my bimmer!

Never really looked at it on my 328 but on every other car I have owned all you have to do is stick a pin in the washer nozzles and move them to direct the washer fluid where you want it to go. Remember to account for windspeed when driving.

Thanks belch9 I'll follow your advise to see if it works in my car. In my old Jetta old you had to do was take a screw driver and adjust the nozzles to your liking but I don't see anything like that in my E90. Any ideas about how to remove that center brake light housing?

The manual says to take it to the dealer for that brake light. But I hate dealers. I've had too many bad experiences with them. I did take the car to the stealer for the wipers problem and they did not find anything obstructing the nozzles. They wanted me to to pay $75 for the adjustment though so I laughed at left. I guess I'll have to experiment but I was asking 'cause I'd hate to damage the car in the process.

just get a small needle or ping..stick in the holes to clear the obstruction and you can also adjust it by moving the needle up/down/left/right..
